ABOUT DR. BOKER
Knowledge and Experience
Dr. Boker is a Board-certified dermatologist with specialized fellowship training in surgical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology. He has been in private practice in New York City for over 10 years and served as an Associate Professor teaching at the Ronald O. Perleman Department of Dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center until 2022.
He completed his general surgery internship at Tufts New England Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the Department of Dermatology at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He finished his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and his subspecialty training in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Surgery at the Department of Dermatology of the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Boker has extensive experience in the treatment of skin cancers and is skilled in removing skin cancers from critical anatomical sites using Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly specialized, minimally invasive technique.
He also has vast expertise in the field of cosmetic dermatology. He conducted many of the key clinical trials that led to FDA-approval of a variety of injectables including Botox, Restylane and Sculptra.
He has published and is the author of multiple peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters in the medical and cosmetic dermatology literature.
