Microneedling

Microneedling is a resurfacing technique that helps correct superficial textural changes in your skin. It is used to minimize acne scars, fine wrinkles and to improve the overall texture of the skin.

How does micro needling work?
  • Using a hand-held microneedling pen, hundreds of tiny micro channels are made on the surface of the skin using tiny vibrating needles. The depth of micro needle penetration can be adjusted depending on the depth or severity of problem that needs to be addressed.
  • The micro channels produced by the needles induces healing changes under the skin which result in formation of new collagen and restructuring of elastic fibers.
Does it hurt?
No. A topical numbing cream is applied to your skin for 30 minutes prior to the treatment, making the procedure comfortable and tolerable.

How many treatment sessions will I need?
Usually 3-6 sessions will be necessary to improve the skin texture and improve fine lines.

What is the down time?
  • Your skin will look slightly pink and swollen or 2-5 days after the procedure.
  • You can start applying makeup to blend in the redness .
