Milia Extraction
Milia are tiny enlarged oil glands under the skin. They commonly appear around the eyes, cheeks and forehead and are usually completely asymptomatic.
How are they removed?
They are typically extracted with a small needle puncture and gentle pressure.
Can they be prevented?
Avoiding harsh physical exfoliators, rubbing your skin and heavy foundation may help prevent them.
Will they go away on their own?
Very small ones may fade away with time but larger more prominent ones usually need to be extracted.
