Rosacea
- Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that manifests with persistent redness, flushing and breakouts on the cheeks, chin and other areas of the face. It can be triggered or worsened by sun exposure, stress, spicy food, hot beverages, exercise, alcohol and certain ingredients in daily skin care products.
- Our treatment approach: people with rosacea need to keep a strict and simple skin care routine, avoiding products with fragrances, exfoliators, toners, serums, etc. Dr. Boker will design a customized treatment plan for you and recommend a safe and effective gentle skin care routine to address the different features of rosacea: redness/flushing, breakouts and/or scarring.
