Eczema
- Eczema or atopic dermatitis is a common skin condition that manifests with “dry” and “itchy” skin, often leading to recurrent bouts of rashes on various parts of the body. It usually gets worse and flares in the dry winter months and when people use scented or harsh skin care products (i.e body washes containing fragrances).
- The cornerstone of treatment involves keeping a specialized gentle skin care regimen which Dr. Boker can help design for you. In addition, topical ointments may be needed to reduce inflammation and treat the itching and redness of affected areas.
