Vitiligo
- Vitiligo is a benign condition that manifests with white discolored patches on the skin. Its cause is unknown and it typically presents with no symptoms.
- For unknown reasons our own immune cells attack our pigment cells leading to loss of pigment cells (melanocytes).
- It can affect people at any age.
